SOME FACTS AND EMPLOYMENTS CONDITIONS
- PROGRESS was founded in September 1990 in Szczecin, Poland.
- Communicative approach in language teaching is a widely applied method at PROGRESS
and our teachers are obliged to conform to it.
- PROGRESS employs: English native speakers, as well as other nationality
teachers of all European languages.
- The teachers have to possess a university degree and a teacher training course (RSA or
equivalent). Teachers with some teaching experience are preferred.
- At PROGRESS there are courses of general English, exam courses,
business English and all types in-company courses as well as one-to-one.
- PROGRESS runs 40 general English courses from elementary to
upper-intermediate, as well as exam courses: FCA, CAE, CPE,
TELC and TOEFL.
- There are 10-14 students in each group.
- PROGRESS is operating in 10 major companies providing them with courses
in ESP.
- PROGRESS regularly invites teacher trainers from language institutions
from England and Sweden to provide its teachers with in-service training seminars.
- At PROGRESS there are regular (a monthly basis) in-service training
seminars, compulsory for all employed.
- Every PROGRESS teacher is observed at least twice a term and is given a
thorough feedback.
